Summary Of Position
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing effective social media content, assisting the marketing team in daily activities such as distributing positive branding messages, and developing and distributing collateral for the company's products and services for the RL Brand and Medspa division of the Practice. This individual will also act as a liaison between the Director of Marketing and RL's contracted campaign agency. Must have an in-depth understanding of the market, customer demographics, preferences, and competition. Proven experience in producing successful social media strategies, preferably in the aesthetic medicine or plastic surgery industry is preferred. Must be able to craft creative and engaging, fresh marketing content in the form of ads, graphics, written content, and videos. Assists with the creation and production of marketing deliverables needed to promote events, specials, community, and internal engagement. This individual will also act as a patient advocate by being knowledgeable in all areas of the practice covering cosmetic surgical and non-surgical Medspa treatments. Displays solid and effective communication skills and collaborates across all internal teams to coordinate all marketing efforts. Builds strong relationships with peers and current, new, and prospective patients of the practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Internet Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Minimum of two years' professional experience as a Marketing Coordinator preferred
- Proven experience in content creation and social media management, with a focus on cosmetic surgery, healthcare, beauty, or aesthetics
- Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for crafting engaging content for social media platforms
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google
- Ability to think creatively
- Ability to work independently while functioning in a team environment
- High level of organization skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs/Sheets, Canva, Adobe

Responsibilities
The essential functions of marketing coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborates with supervisor and leadership team to establish targeted, consistent brand messaging
- Liaison between Director of Marketing and RL's contracted campaign agency
- Identifies target customers and markets
- Collects and compiles customer feedback in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by company management and leadership
- Implements online marketing campaigns and digital asset strategies including social media campaigns, video content; photo content; news/promotional content posts, and shot list for hired agency
- Actively engages our patient audience and web follower audience to support provider engagement
- Develops and distributes materials related to sales, specials, promotions, and general brand marketing
- Support internal / external referral and loyalty programs, and patient memberships
- Collects and maintains sales records to track, review, and modify performance of marketing initiatives
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with existing and potential patients and vendors
- Performs other duties as assigned
SOCIAL MEDIA
- Assist the Director of Marketing with the social media initiatives for the organization as needed
- Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in content creation and social media marketing
- Proactively create content aligned with the organizations social media calendar
- Lead social media posting, engagement and community management
- Engage with customers and followers
- Help strategize new ways to develop and capture marketing content and work with agency to develop quarterly shot lists
- Develop creative digital content utilizing on trend methods and fresh new concepts
- Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network
- Analyze customer expectations according to past social media activity
- Assess results with the Director of Marketing and modify campaigns to ensure established benchmarks are reached
- Communicate effectively as needed to all stakeholders including owners and senior management
CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
- Collaborate with providers and extended team to conceptualize and execute content ideas tailored specifically for their social media platforms
- Produce high quality visual content, including photos and videos, highlighting before-and-after transformations, patient testimonials, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the RL Center for Cosmetic Surgery and Medspa practice
- Assist in production of deliverables needed for general brand marketing, special offerings, and community engagement
- Create compelling captions to accompany social media posts that are aligned with the RL Center for Cosmetic Surgery and Medspa brand and messaging branded, captivating content to be implemented across all marketing channels to ensure consistent messaging - social media and reputation management platforms, print collateral, signage, and advertisements
- Collaborate with the marketing team to elevate creative thinking by contributing innovative concepts for online engagement, video creation, written content, and photography
EVENTS
- Help plan, coordinate, communicate, and execute internal and external events; monthly, quarterly, biannual, and annual both in office and virtual
- Promote events, collect, track and engage with RSVPs
- Assist with charity events and internal campaigning
