Exclusive private country club is seeking an experienced Massage Therapist to provide professional and exceptional member services. Must have a passion for promoting a holistic approach to personal health and experience with Deep Tissue, Sports, Swedish, Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage and a variety of body treatment services in a Dry Room setting. Excellent work environment and flexible hours. Weekday and weekend shifts.
Essential Duties
- Conducts thorough consultations with clients to understand their health history, concerns, and desired outcomes for each session.
- Provides a variety of massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone) tailored to individual client needs and preferences.
- Develops personalized treatment plans that address clients’ specific goals, such as pain relief, stress reduction, or improved flexibility.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment space, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Offers guidance on post-treatment care and wellness practices to enhance clients’ overall health and relaxation.
- Maintains accurate and confidential records of client sessions, progress, and feedback.
- Stays updated on industry trends and techniques through continuing education and professional development.
- Works closely with other wellness staff to create an integrated approach to member health and well-being.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Massage Therapist.
- 1- 3 years of proven experience in various massage techniques and modalities.
Special Requirements
- Current First Aid, CPR certification preferred
- Maintains valid and current:
- Liability Insurance naming employer as certificate holder.
- Driver’s license.
- Auto insurance.
- Specialty field certifications.
- Independent contractor forms.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a relaxing and professional environment for clients.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and provide hands-on treatments.
