Our areas of expertise include aesthetic and medical spa services that span injectables, facials, laser services, and body treatments. We have two locations in the Wakefield and Newport, RI markets and are currently searching for an Esthetician and Patient Experience Coordinator to support our brand new Newport location.
To excel in this position, you must have good communication skills, be self-motivated, well organized, and willing to provide clients with exceptional customer care. The Esthetician and Patient Experience Coordinator hired for this position should be eager to expand his/her knowledge base to include services and product lines we carry and be comfortable recommending these to meet our client’s needs.
Position Overview
You'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional aesthetic outcomes while providing compassionate care to our valued clients. As an Esthetician and Patient Experience Coordinator, you'll administer various non-surgical aesthetic and wellness procedures, collaborate with our medspa team, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Bring your clinical expertise and artistic sensibility to help clients achieve their aesthetic goals.

Work Location:
- Both SeaMist MedSpa locations in Wakefield and Newport, RI with a primary focus on Newport, RI
Requirements
- Provide exceptional client care
- Greet clients and answering incoming calls
- Book/re-book appointments
- Check clients in/out
- Answer emails and other correspondence
- Provide direct patient care, adhering to authorized guidelines and laws.
- Conduct consultations to understand patients' aesthetic goals and establish treatment plans.
- Perform aesthetic procedures and ensure thorough documentation.
- Ensure client comfort and safety throughout treatments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and treatment plans.
- Uphold infection control, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and licensure requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
- Collect photo and video content for social media.
- Self-promote your aesthetic services and treatments and take ownership in building your client base.
- Collaborate with team members for comprehensive client care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as an Aesthetician
- 2+ years of experience working as an esthetician in a medical spa setting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent understanding of dermatology and skincare treatment preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
- Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Empathetic approach towards patient needs and concerns.
